Morning Mourning

Wept for Glory, morning mourning

Til the sea washed far ashore
greeted me as a mother
Told me not to cry more

For the sea’s rocking lullaby rose above the lion roar

Lying roar
Hear the wolf cry
Bleating as a new day’s lamb

As we cry deeper the shoreline
‘long the jaw of broken masts
